How to help the people of the Philippines
As you heard in Assembly on Monday, Student Voice will be teaming up with lower school and high school leadership students to raise awareness and money for the Philippines. Our first round of fundraising efforts will take place this Saturday, November 23, during our Thanksgiving Celebration. We need student volunteers to help manage the booth, which will sell sago, a popular drink native to the Philippines. All proceeds will go towards the Philippine Science High School (Visayas Campus), which was largely destroyed during the typhoon. If you would like more information on the school and the damage done, please visit this website: http://www.rappler.com/move-ph/ispeak/43667-mission-palo-leyte-yolanda-haiyan

Please sign-up on this document if you would like to volunteer for one of the one-hour shifts this Saturday. Also, we need help creating a bulletin board for the booth. Please sign up for this Thursday, November 21 to help create a bulletin board. This will take place in the Student Center right after school.

Thank you to Maan Sicam and Silvia Yamada (Graded parents) who brought this idea to Student Voice.

Friday Activities
Friday Activities are set for round two and will be posted by the end of this week.  We will be in these Friday Activities for about 10 sessions, just like the first round.  If you break a bone or have some other medical reason why you can't do your activity, please let Mr. Engstrom know.

Pay It Forward
Hi Graded! Let's get the Pay it Forward movement started at Graded! Remember that Pay It Forward is when one person does a favor to three people that can't be done by themselves. Those people then do a favor to three other people. This way kindness can be spread throughout Graded. Here are some more ideas to Pay it Forward:
1. Give a treat to a friend who didn't ask for it
2. Compliment a student you normally don't talk with
3. Support the efforts for those affected by the typhoon in the Philippines
We hope that everyone will contribute to the movement!
Thank you from the Service Learning class!

Day off
Every enjoy the day off tomorrow for Consciencia Negra!

Found
A black iPhone 4 and an insulin kit for diabetes was left in the MS Office.  Please see Suely if you think either of these might be yours.
