Typhoon Haiyan Fundraiser - House Challenge!
As we discussed in Assembly on Monday, we are challenging each House to see who can raise the most money for the Philippine Science High School, which was largely destroyed by the typhoon. Please ask your family, friends, neighbors, teachers, etc. to donate money!
Details of the House Challenge:
- Students will bring donations to Suely, who will keep track of the total by House
- Sandra is making "donation thermometers" that we will display outside of the MS Office to publicize the donations
- An update will be given at the December 2 assembly on who is raising the most money so far
- Winning Houses - the top 5 will have points added to their Field Day totals!
Ilha do Cardoso
We are still collecting supplies for the school in Ilha do Cardoso. Please bring in slightly used school materials so the children can have more to work with and as a result, learn more in school.
